This is the calendar itself, not a download: twelve months and a cover on thick paper with a silky finish, joined by a metal binding, with a hole to hang it by. Open on the wall it measures 11 by 17 inches (A4 pages in the UK and Europe). We post it free, usually five to seven business days after you approve it.

The holidays you celebrate
Red, white and blue bunting and fireworks over a summer meadow for the Fourth of July. Shamrocks and gold coins in March, jack-o'-lanterns in October, a cornucopia by the window at Thanksgiving. A light touch, never a costume: the season comes first and the holiday sits in the painting like a keepsake. The holidays are printed on their dates in the grid as well.
Big dog, little dog, both in every month
Add every pet you have and they share every month of the year, each in a pose of their own. Minnie weighs ten pounds and Mickey weighs forty, and they are painted that way, side by side.
Soft enough for any room
Gentle washes of color, the grain of the paper showing through, and soft edges that fade into the page. It hangs like a set of small paintings rather than a photo calendar, in a kitchen, a hallway or beside a desk.

- Do I need good photos?
- No. The ones already on your phone are the right ones: a clear face, a couple of angles, and a full length shot if you have one. Nobody has to pose for anything.
- Which holidays are in it?
- The ones for the country you choose. In the United States the paintings carry New Year's, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, the Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the holidays are printed on their dates in the grid. In Canada it is Canada Day in July and Thanksgiving in October. You can turn the holiday touches off, and add dates of your own, such as birthdays.
- Does this work for cats and other pets?
- Yes. Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs and horses all work the same way, and you can mix them. A dog and a cat are painted together like any other pair.
- I have three dogs. Are they all in it?
- Yes. Every pet you add is in every month, painted together in the same scene. Most of our calendars star more than one.
- How does this actually work?
- You send a few photos of your pets. We use the world's most advanced AI image models to paint each month from those reference photos, so every picture is of your own pets rather than a stock animal that looks a little like them. There is no artist and no waiting list, and nothing is printed until you have approved all twelve months.
- What if a picture does not look like her?
- Have it redrawn, or tell us what to change in your own words, before anything is printed. Nothing goes to the printer until you have approved all twelve months and the cover.
- Do I get the digital files as well?
- Yes, at no extra cost. Your order page holds the high resolution PDF we send to the printer, and every month's artwork as its own high resolution image, so you can reprint a favourite, frame one or share it.
- Can I make one of a pet who has passed away?
- Yes, and many people do. We only need the photos you already have. If you would like a hand choosing them, reply to any of our emails and a person will answer you.
- Is the preview really free?
- Yes. You see four months of your own pets in Watercolor before you decide, with no card and no obligation.
- When will it arrive?
- We print close to where you live and post it free. Most calendars arrive within five to seven business days of your approval.
