Google launched Nano Banana 2 in February 2026, put it straight into its own Gemini app in place of Nano Banana Pro, and called it “our best image generation and editing model

Every month is drawn at high resolution and then enlarged for printing, so it stays sharp at full page size (2400 x 1792 pixels, enlarged to 300 dots per inch). In many cases the result matches the quality of professional photography. The pictures in this slideshow are real generated months, made from four ordinary phone photos of one dachshund called Minnie. They were drawn at the model's highest setting, with twice the detail across and down of the months we print (4800 x 3584 pixels), so the close-ups show finer detail than a printed page will. Nothing here was retouched by hand.

So far (February to September 2026), every calendar we have made for the US, Canada and the UK was printed in the country it was going to. Change any picture before we print
You see every picture before anything goes to the printer. Until you approve, you can paint a new version of any of them or change it, and we will help in the chat if one still is not right. Once you approve, we print your calendar exactly as you saw it, so we cannot offer a refund or a reprint if you would like a picture to look different afterwards. If it arrives damaged or with a printing mistake, we will send a new one at no cost.
A real person when you need one
Reply to any of our emails and a person will answer you. There is a chat in the corner of every page too: our AI assistant answers first and can hand you to one of us.
Questions people ask about AI-generated pet calendars
- What photos do I need, and how many?
- The ones already on your phone. Photos that show a clear face, a couple of angles and, if you have one, the whole body work best, so the AI can see their shape and tail. You can add up to 10 photos of each pet. Please use real photographs: a painting or drawing is already someone’s version of your pet, and the AI would copy that version instead of your pet.
- Does it work for cats, other animals or several pets?
- Yes. Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs and horses all work the same way, and you can mix them: up to four pets in one calendar, together in every month. When several pets share a picture, a month more often needs another try, and that is exactly what your redraws are for.
- Can I make one for a pet who has passed away?
- Yes, and many people do. We only need the photos you already have, and if you would like a hand choosing them, tell us and we will help. Everything you add is saved as you go and kept for a year, so there is no rush.
- Which art styles can I choose?
- There are 8: Watercolor, Nature, Adorable, Picture Perfect, Oil Painting, Funny Cartoon, American and Canadian. - Is the free preview what gets printed?
- No. The four free months are a quicker first painting with a lighter check. When you order, or pay to unlock all twelve months, every month is painted again in finer detail, the four you saw included, and goes through the full checks against your photos before you approve it.
- Why not make the pictures myself in Google’s Gemini app?
- You could make pictures there yourself. What we add around Google’s frontier image AI is everything that turns pictures into a calendar you can hang: one style across twelve months and a cover, every pet in every month, each month checked against your photos by Gemini 3.1 Pro, your own dates in the grid, and the printing and free shipping.
- Do you use my photos to train AI?
- No. We do not use your photos to train any AI, and we do not sell your personal data.
- Is it a 2027 calendar, and can I choose the first month?
- Yes. It starts in January 2027 unless you pick another month, and runs for twelve months. You can also start it in any month from this month through December 2027.
- Can I write on it?
- You can, but the silky finish is made for pictures more than pens, so try your pen in the corner of a date square first.
- Can I order more than one copy?
- Yes. You can have up to 5 printed copies of the same calendar sent together in one parcel, a lovely way to give the whole family the same year. You choose how many when you order.
