At My Dog Calendar, your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
Information We Collect
When you use our service, we may collect the following information:
- Photos you upload — used solely to generate your custom calendar, wall art or optional month video artwork.
- Email address — used for order confirmations, shipping updates, and session recovery.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe, or by PayPal if you choose it. We never store your card details on our servers.
- Shipping address — used to deliver your order. The province or state and country of the delivery address may also be used to personalize the pictures in your shipping and delivery emails and, if you buy the optional month video, its scene; never the street address or city.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your custom product.
- To send order confirmations and shipping notifications.
- To allow you to resume an in-progress session if you leave and come back.
- To send you our newsletter, only if you explicitly opt in.
- To keep a record, when you approve your calendar, of which pictures and settings you approved and when, so we can answer any question about your order later. The record also notes how long you spent checking them and the size of your screen.
- To improve our styles and pictures: when you ask us to change a picture, we keep what you asked for, the picture’s style and month, and which versions you kept, without your name or email address, for up to three years. You can ask us to delete it.
What We Don’t Do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use your data without your consent.
- We do not share your photos with anyone outside of what is necessary to generate your product.
Your Photos
Photos you upload are used exclusively to generate your calendar, wall art or optional month video artwork. We do not use your photos for training AI models, marketing, or any other purpose. Uploaded photos are kept with your calendar so we can print it and make changes you ask for. Photos for a calendar that is never ordered are deleted when its session expires.
Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies to manage your session and remember your progress. We also use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve the experience. These analytics do not track you across other websites.
Payment Security
All payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal, PCI-compliant payment processors. Your card or PayPal details go straight to them and never touch our servers. If you pay with PayPal, PayPal shares the name and shipping address you choose there with us, so we can deliver your order.
If you pay in Canadian dollars, our preview page also loads PayPal’s script to show a message from PayPal about its payment options. PayPal may collect information about your device and browser when it does, as described in PayPal’s privacy statement.
